Story Behind the Drawing

Tudor Uprooted is the second collage in my architecture series — drawings inspired by the relationship between nature and houses. Each drawing features an invasive plant weaving through the architectural elements, showing the way that nature eventually becomes intertwined with buildings. In this piece, English Ivy is interlaced throughout the collage, as it is common to find ivy crawling up old Tudor homes.
