Story Behind the Drawing

Every forest has a Keeper, a special guardian who travels around keeping watch over all the animals and their interactions, helping to ensure the peace and stability of the environment. While any type of animal can be a Keeper (for example, Helena the Humble was a famous guardian doe of the 16th century), most tend to be badgers, thanks to their quiet demeanor and foresight. As Keepers spend their days wandering about the region, they often carry their houses with them. No matter how far they go, they always have a place to call home—a place to rest, think, and dream.
