Story Behind the Drawing
The art of brewing tea is an old Tawny tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages. While most owls love a hot cup of tea in the morning, Tawny owls are the most prominent tea enthusiasts among the bird community. They are known to create herbal teas for any and all occasions, and practically never drink the same brew twice. Luckily for the rest of us, the Tawnies have created Tawny’s Tea, a most delectable black tea blend with notes of cinnamon, anise, berries, and other secret ingredients. They recommend drinking the tea at midnight, but have been very vague as to the benefits of a nighttime cup. Perhaps it has something to do with the moon, as the owls regularly interact with her during their nighttime hunts.
