Story Behind the Drawing

Bathilda, Matilda, and Grünhilda know how to throw a party, and over the years, their reputation for revelry and merrymaking has reached well beyond their homeland of Surrey into London, Canterbury, and beyond. Because of this, everyone knows that if you want to throw the best party—one that the chipmunks and squirrels and crows will chatter on about for years to come—you must hire them to plan and coordinate your celebration. One thing that sets their parties apart from others is the belief that every gathering, no matter how small, is not complete without party hats. They often spend weeks (if not months) crafting bespoke hats out of cardboard and paint to perfectly match each special event. Another thing worth mentioning is that Bathilda, Matilda, and Grünhilda attend every party they help to create…whether they are invited or not. (They claim that attending parties is how they find inspiration, but I believe it may simply be a way to eat more cake).
