Story Behind the Drawing
On Midsummer’s Day, forests awaken to a floor of decorated mushrooms. The mushrooms are decorated the night before by hundreds of moths, who spend all year creating ornaments to drape and hang on the tiny fungi. When the last bit of darkness disappears, the moths return to bed so that the rest of the forest can enjoy the mushrooms and celebrate the long day ahead.
