Story Behind the Drawing

Every summer, as the sun submerges the world in a golden glow, Ceridwyn can be found selling flowers along the banks of Wellswater Lake. From dawn to dusk, she floats wherever the current takes her, offering fresh stems to whoever wanders by. Her flower stand (although, flower boat might be a more accurate term) is a favorite among locals who praise her flowers for their longevity and unusual colors. At night, once darkness has settled in and the river has gone to sleep, Ceridwyn returns to her garden where she begins restocking flowers for the next morning. In truth, this is her favorite part of the day, for there is nothing quite like picking flowers under the light of the moon while the rest of the world dreams.
