Story Behind the Drawing

The Spanish Moon Moth is one of four drawings in my moth series. In each drawing, the moth is entangled in a plant that is essential for their growth and development. For the Spanish Moon moth, this is a pine tree. (Fun fact: Spanish Moon Moths are also referred to as “stained glass moths.”)
