Hello Whimsical Friend! Welcome to Mackenzie Myrick Studio.
My name is Mackenzie, and I'm the artist, illustrator, and creator behind everything you see here (and anything you happen to find within the little nooks and crannies that the mice have created around the website...maybe more on that later).
I create detailed pen and ink drawings rooted in nature and storytelling. My designs are grounded in reality but they also live in a fantastical world where raccoons bring ice cream sundaes to parties and rabbits craft the most excellent olive oil throughout Europe.
What makes my designs even more special? I write short, anecdotal stories to accompany each piece, which are little glimpses into the places and characters depicted in my artwork. These stories are included on the backs of my products, so that you're purchasing an item for yourself or for friend, everyone can experience a bit of magic in their everyday life.
Most of all, my illustrations and stationery collection are intended to bring JOY, IMAGINATION, and CURIOSITY to everyday living. From cards to bookmarks to birch trays and everything in between, there is always something to make your day more magical.
