Story Behind the Drawing

Inspired by birdhouses, The Ladybug House is a playful home for ladybugs. The house resembles a garden, as ladybugs are excellent for keeping pests away from crops like corn. Cosmos flowers surround the home, and a small water basin — complete with a water mill and fish — helps to water the newly sprouted plants.
